Hello, My Name Is  . . .

Axl Rhodes. I'm a musician, audio producer, synth enthusiast, and cat whisperer 🐱 from Dresden, Germany. Founder of Stereoscape Records, a label dedicated to synthesizer-driven music, releasing on both physical and digital formats.

After various music projects as a band member and a more or less successful solo project that toured Germany, I returned my focus to studio production toward the end of the pandemic in 2021/22. I released my first single under my new moniker in December 2022. In 2023, I discovered synthwave as a genre, particularly retrowave, vaporwave, and chillsynth, and further refined my production techniques. A total of 17 releases followed that year, including two EPs and one album.
