Hello, My Name Is  . . .

Axl Rhodes. I'm a Musician, Audio producer, Synth enthusiast and Cat lover from Dresden, Germany. Currently founding and developing Stereoscape Records, a music label for synthesizer-driven music, for release on physical and digital media.

I was trained as a classical pianist, but immediately retired. After various full-time jazz & rock music projects as a band member and a more or less successful electro-pop solo project that toured Germany, as well as studying fine arts in the 2010s, I focused on studio production again with the end of the pandemic in 2021/22. I released my first single with the new moniker in December 2022. In 2023 I discovered synthwave as a genre, especially retrowave, vaporwave and chillsynth, and further developed my production techniques.  A total of 17 releases followed that year, including 2 EPs and 1 album.
